Syrian military source: Two civilians were killed and 7 soldiers were wounded in the Israeli attack

The Syrian news agency SANA reported that civilians were killed and seven soldiers were wounded as a result of air strikes that targeted military sites south of the Syrian capital, Damascus.

The Syrian News Agency quoted a military source as saying that “the Israeli aggression resulted in two martyrs, wounding seven soldiers, and material damage.”

The source pointed out that “at exactly 22:40 on Monday evening, the Zionist enemy launched an air strike from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan on some of our military sites south of Damascus.”

The source pointed out that the air defense media responded to the strike and “most of the missiles were shot down before they reached their targets.”

The Syrian capital has been subjected to more than one attack during the past months, the most recent of which was on July 20, when SANA announced that “the Syrian air defenses confronted an Israeli aggression from over the Majdal Shams area in the occupied Syrian Golan.”

Before that, it was announced on April 27th that “Israeli aggression targeted Syria from over Lebanese territory,” and that a number of missiles had been dropped before they reached their targets
