Saudi Public Security confirmed today, Saturday, in a tweet on his official account with “Twitter”, that he had started preventing entry to the holy sites “Muna, Muzdalifah and Arafat”, until the end of the day of the 12th of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah.
In his tweet, the security indicated that “anyone who violates the instructions to prevent entry to the holy sites without permission will be punished and a fine of 10,000 riyals.”
He added: “In the event of a repeat offense, the penalty will be doubled.”
The security called on citizens and residents to adhere to the instructions for the Hajj season for this year, noting that “the security men will start their work on all roads and paths leading to those feelings, to prevent violations and control any attempt to enter without a permit.”
It is reported that the 12th of Dhul Hijjah falls on August 11th, according to Saudi astronomical calculations.
