The media spokesman for the Civil Defense Directorate in Jizan, Colonel Muhammad bin Yahya Al-Ghamdi, stated in a statement carried by the official “SPA” agency that he had received a communication “about the fall of a military projectile launched by members of the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia from inside Yemeni territory towards one of the border villages in Al-Harath Governorate.” In the region.
Al-Ghamdi stated that the attack “resulted in damage to the façade of a civilian object protected by international humanitarian law, damage to 3 civilian vehicles, and light injuries to 5 civilians as a result of flying shrapnel.”
He added that the injured “were transferred to the hospital and their health condition is stable,” noting that “the procedures adopted in such cases have been directly implemented.”
Since the summer, the Houthi forces have intensified their attacks with explosive drones and missiles on sites inside Saudi Arabia, which accuses the “Ansar Allah” group of targeting civilians in the Kingdom.
