National Oil Company in Libya raises the status of force majeure at the Zueitina oil port

ReutersThe National Oil Corporation in Libya announced today, Tuesday, the lifting of the status of force majeure in the Zueitina oil port in the east of the country, after conducting a security assessment of the situation in the port and the fields connected to it.

The Corporation also allowed the resumption of operations in the ports of Harika and Buraiqa, following an eight-month closure of most oil facilities in Libya.

The state-run corporation said in a statement that it was assessing the security situation in ports and other oil fields, with the aim of resuming production.
