The official spokesman for the Kuwaiti government, Tariq Al-Muzrim, called on everyone to take information from official sources, and not to pay attention to what is raised on social media.
This came after rumors spread about the death of the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. Trend was published on Kuwait’s “Twitter”, and activists circulated a hashtag bearing his name and everyone called him for a speedy recovery.
At the same time, rumors abounded, after Kuwaiti Deputy Saleh Ashour said in a tweet that both the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled and the Speaker of the National Assembly, Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim, left the National Assembly hall, during the session.
Ashour added, through his account on the social networking site “Twitter”: “The Prime Minister and the Speaker left the National Assembly hall during the session to meet His Highness the Deputy Emir.”
After that, the Al-Qabas website announced that after that, Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled arrived at Abdullah Al-Salem Hall, and Parliament Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim resumed the session.
