Dr Tajamul alongwith scores of prominent political activists from district Kupwara join Apni Party

Altaf Bukhari welcomes new entrants into party-fold

SRINAGAR, January 7: Dr Tajamul, a prominent political activist from Handwara who contested recently concluded DDC elections as an independent candidate from Natnussa territorial constituency in Kupwara district on Thursday joined Apni Party alongwith his over 200 prominent political associates.

The joining ceremony took place at Apni Party office in Lal Chowk in presence of Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari. Party general General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir, State Secretary and District President Budgam Muntazir Mohi-ud-din, Provincial President Mohammad Ashraf Mir, District President Kupwara Raja Manzoor, District President Srinagar Noor Mohammad Sheikh, Party leaders Abdul Rasheed Bhat and Shabir Ahmad lone and Showkat Ahmad Mir were also present on this occasion.

Some prominent political workers who joined with Apni Party alongwith Dr Tajamul included: Ghulam Mohammad Dar Sarpanch Kawarinagri, Mohammad Akbar Lone Panch Magam-B, Bashir Ahmad Lone, Halqa president NC from Magam-A, Mohammad Shafi Sheikh Ex-district general secretary Congress Kupwara, Shabir Rasool Peoples Conference Halqa President from Nagriwari Kupwara and Ghulam Nabi Ahangar PDP Halqa President Magam-A.

The delegation further comprised various reputed political personalities affiliated with NC, PDP, PC, AIP and Congress, hailing from various places of Kupwara district.

Speaking on this occasion, Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari welcomed the new entrants into the party-fold and impressed upon them to work tirelessly for the public welfare in their respective areas.

Besides working for redressal of public grievances, he stressed on them to strengthen the party cadre in district Kupwara.
