Covid 19: Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf and Haider Ali Test corona Positive +ve

RightNow Times: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that three players of the Pakistan cricket team, Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf and Haider Ali, who will be touring England in the next few days, have tested positive.

The Pakistan Cricket Board’s medical panel is in touch with the three players and they have been asked to isolate themselves immediately.

RightNow Times: The Pakistan Cricket Board said the affected players had undergone tests in Rawalpindi and all three did not show signs of corona. Fast bowlers Usman Shinwari and Emad Wasim’s corona test results are negative. Both of them were tested in Rawalpindi.

It may be recalled that corona tests of 28 out of 29 players and coaching staff selected for the tour of England were taken on Monday in Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi and Peshawar and the results will be received by the Pakistan Cricket Board by Tuesday. ۔

RightNow Times: Shoaib Malik’s test will be taken later. He has been given special permission by the Pakistan Cricket Board to reach England on July 24 after meeting his family. Bowling coach Waqar Younis and physio Cliff Deacon will also be tested later. Waqar Younis will join England and Cliff Deacon will travel directly from South Africa to England.

RightNow Times: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has said that if a player or a member of the coaching staff tests positive for a corona, he will have to spend two weeks in solitary confinement at home, after which he will have two more tests, both of which are negative. Upon arrival, he will be allowed to travel to England.

RightNow Times: In this regard, an agreement has been reached between the Pakistan Cricket Board and the England and Wales Cricket Board that such players who will later go to England will be given special permission to enter there. Similarly, in the case of Shoaib Malik, the England and Wales Cricket Board has allowed him to enter England later.

RightNow Times: Pakistan cricket team will leave for England on June 28 on a chartered flight. Before the departure of the team, the players and coaching staff will also undergo corona tests on June 25, the results of which will be received by the Pakistan Cricket Board on June 27.
